Listy McListerson

1. I love lists.  I’ve been known to make rough drafts of grocery shopping lists so that can go to the store with The Perfect List.  Every single post here will be in list format.  Sound boring?  Not at all.  There’s not much in life I can’t turn in to a beautifully organized list.
2. A/S/L: I’m 30, and have trouble believing that I am old enough to do the things that 30 year-olds do, and too old to do the things that 30 year olds are too old to do.  I’m female, as will I’m sure be evidenced in posts about my uncooperative ovaries.  I grew up just outside Philadelphia, and now live in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
3. I’m married.  Have been for almost four years.
   
4. I’m back in college.  For various reasons, I never finished during my three previous attempts.  Now I’m a sophomore, and theoretically will be entering the nursing program in January 2009, to get my RN in 2011. I’m obsessed with my grades.
5. I am fertility challenged.  I have PCOS and have been working with two different fertility doctors for almost three years.
6. I had gastric bypass surgery. Some people hate this, which is fine.  I lost 150 lbs.
7. I have a crazy family.  Sometimes good crazy, like when my mom drunk-dials me, sometimes bad crazy, like when I seriously think they need therapy and/or medication.  Frequently, the two overlap.
8. We bought a house a year ago. It was previously owned by idiots, and I’m responsible for most repairs and improvements.
9. I’m a perfectionist, and that makes me kind of obsessive about everything. I can overanalyze anything.  I’ve been working on this post for almost a week, and am finally just giving in and posting it even though I know it could be better with just a little more editing, or what if there is something I’m forgetting, or what if some of this isn’t important, or what if…you get the idea.
